Quan Nguyen

Invited Speaker, QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute

Assoc. Prof. Quan Nguyen is the head of the Genomics and Machine Learning Lab at the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. He is leading the QIMRB National Centre for Spatial Tissue and AI Research (NCSTAR). He was awarded an Australian Research Council DECRA Fellowship in 2021, and is a National Health and Medical Research Council Emerging Leadership Fellow (EL2). His lab uses spatial multiomics and machine learning analysis to find diagnostics biomarkers, understand cellular interactions, predict disease progression and stratify responses to drugs.
