Yoshinari Ando

Invited Speaker, RIKEN Center

Dr. Yoshinari Ando is the Programme Officer for the Human Cell Atlas (HCA) Asia office, responsible for the administrative support to all HCA Asia related activities. He also works as a Research Administrator at RIKEN Center for the Integrative Medical Sciences since 2019.
He received a PhD in Science from the University of Tsukuba. He performed postdoctoral research under Dr. Yoshihide Hayashizaki at RIKEN and with Prof. Anthony K.L. Leung at Johns Hopkins University. He previously worked as a senior staff scientist at National Cancer Center in Japan.
He is interested in single-cell transcriptome of human organs, full-length cDNA technology and spatial biology.
